LPP topping out

LPP topping out

In July of 2021, Grzegorz Tacakiewicz and architects who worked on the design of the LPP Logistics Centre - took part in the topping-out ceremony. We must admit that it was a very original topping out ceremony! As you can see, the construction is progressing at a dizzying pace and yesterday's ceremony was a sign that the construction phase has ended. The topping out ceremony is an opportunity to thank the representatives of the investor, the general contractor and all the cooperating entities for their contribution to the process of realising the investment. The ceremony, just as years ago, is to bring prosperity to the newly built facility.

As a reminder, the area of the LPP distribution centre in Brześć Kujawski will be 75,000 m2, of which 65,000 m2 will be occupied by a warehouse, while 10,000 m2 will be used for office and technical space. In addition to automated systems, the building will feature solutions to increase energy efficiency. A photovoltaic installation is planned for the roof of the building. In the first phase of operation, the centre will employ around 500 people. Ultimately, up to 1,000 jobs are to be created.

Construction work started in January will last until the end of 2021, and the investor plans to launch the centre in the first quarter of 2022. The general contractor for the investment is Bremer.
