LPP Distribution Centre in Brześć Kujawski

We present photos of the LPP Distribution Center built in Brest Kujawski - this is one of two facilities of the Tacakiewicz Ferma Kresek project nominated for the prestigious Eurobuild Awards 2022 in the New Warehouse of the Year category, CEE Eurobuild CEE.

A few words about the investment:

75,000 sqm, shipping process efficiency of up to 8 million garments/week, 40 million products storage capacity, servicing of 1000 stores simultaneously, modern automation, implementation of sustainable building solutions, user comfort, own bus depot, unique architecture and functionality are the LPP Distribution Center.

During the design process, great attention was paid to aesthetics, functionality and sustainability. The main entrance to the social and office building was accented with a unique entrance portal. The building was covered with a perforated facade, which was “tailored” with 250,000 triangular holes referring to the structure of the fabric. The surrounding areas were planted with lush greenery supporting the preservation of local biodiversity. A number of ecological solutions were used, such as photovoltaic panels, heat recovery units, water recovery systems and motion sensors controlling electrical installations. Bus platforms with a bus bay and spaces for buses, bicycle infrastructure as well as space for electric cars. The investor's ambitious vision, in cooperation with the designers and the contractor, made it possible to create a unique, trend-setting facility that stands out in the market of industrial and warehouse facilities.
