Foundation stone laying ceremony in Konin Żagański

Our colleagues from TFK Poznań, as a representation of the group that worked on the Hermes Fulfilment logistics center project, took part in the cornerstone laying ceremony at the foot of the structure under construction.

Also resting at the site of the cornerstone laying was a “time capsule” that contained the signed foundation act (the document that begins construction in a ceremonial manner) along with the current issue of the local press.

The designed facility has an area of 150,000 sqm and will be the Hermes Group's second largest hub in Europe, employing some 1,900 people. It is scheduled to open before the end of 2023. The value of the investment will reach €300 million. Hermes Fulfilment is working in partnership with Panattoni, the main developer and manager of the project.
